The Schloss Kurhotel Strobl lies in the middle in the heart of Austria: in the beautiful salt chamber property, directly in the place Strobl at the Wolfgangsee, in the midst of a large castle park including sunbathing area and large heated indoor pool, the lake is 500m in walking distance comfortably and evenly attainable on foot.
Due to the location directly in the village of Strobl am Wolfgangsee, all infrastructure (shopping, events, culture, leisure, etc.) is perfectly provided. A professionally signposted network of paths (according to marking from easy to very difficult) for walkers, runners, hikers, walkers and cyclists characterizes the surrounding landscape of the Wolfgangsee around our castle park. All active tours can be started on foot or by bike directly at our Schloss Kurhotel.
The spacious grounds of the Schloss Kurhotel Strobl are laid out in a U-shape around the historical castle park with its beautiful old trees and is divided into clearly structured wings that are connected to each other. In the years 2013 - 2015, the historical complex was comprehensively and stylishly renovated and extensively expanded with stylish additions. The house is thus optically and technically up-to-date.
All rooms are equipped with modern comfort (shower, WC, hairdryer, WLAN, telephone, TV). Cosy period furniture ensures a special cosiness.
A separate wing offers you a large heated indoor pool, with glazing to the park and exit to the lawn. Furthermore a wellness oasis with sauna, steam bath and relaxation room. The areas for strength and endurance training were deliberately placed in a prime location on the second floor with a view of the park.
The beautiful surroundings of the Schloss Kurhotel Strobl are ideal for all outdoor activities, such as hiking, Nordic walking and cycling (see also region Wolfgangsee).
The new gastronomy wing is located in the western wing of the building and presents itself extremely attractive with a large buffet room, 2 restaurants, 1 café - all with a large sun terrace - and pleasant hotel lobby.
The public transport connection is very well given by train and bus, the bus station Strobl is only 500m away. It is also easily accessible by private car from all directions. Our guests have exclusive use of a large private parking lot, directly adjacent to the castle park.
Of course also the Schloss Kurhotel Strobl is subject to the respective current restrictions of the COVID-19 measures of the Austrian Federal Government. Please understand that some of the amenities of our offer may not be available.
